Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare More Armor Slots

With all the playgrounds and fun, it’s a little disappointing that Advanced Warfare still falls prey to pitfalls of Call of Duty past. There’s still the requisite “Press X to progress” moments, only some are a little more glaring than others, like the funeral scene at the start of the first Atlas mission.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches on November 4, bringing with it a campaign that spans the solar system, a robust multiplayer, and the 1980s theme park adventure Zombies in Spaceland.

Throughout the game, you’ll be asked to make life or death decisions at any given moment. Arm yourself with these details before you head in, because knowledge is power!

SIDE MISSIONS

During the campaign, you will have the chance to take part in optional side missions that will allow you to earn upgrades to enhance combat. These upgrades will persist throughout successive playthroughs and include:

  • Suit Upgrades: Faster weapon swap, faster reload, less flinch, faster health regeneration, enhanced focus, an Electro Knife for more powerful melee attacks, and more.
  • Jackal Upgrades: Enhance the multi-role Jackal fighter jet with new weapons, better thrusters, stronger armor, and even decorate your ride with new nose art.

WEAPON ARMORIES

In most of the Story missions and the Ship Assault Missions, you can find weapon armories that will yield great rewards. Each armory can contain additional weaponry, including unique items like the “Eraser” gun that vaporizes enemies with a single blast. Try it in conjunction with the Shield for some great synergy.

Every armory also contains an Equipment Upgrade Console that will upgrade a piece of your lethal or tactical gear. These upgrades, along with any weapons you find, will be at your disposal for the rest of the campaign, so it is worth hunting down each and every armory for the ultimate loadout.

SPECIALIST MODE

This mode is unlocked after beating the game on any difficulty. It is intensely realistic and not for the faint of heart. But if you feel brave enough, soldier on with these tips.

  • You can only heal with Nano Shots, there is no health regeneration in this mode.
  • Helmets are your only protection from headshots. They will take permanent damage and will need to be replaced.
  • Both Nano Shots and helmets take up equipment slots, so remember to equip them in your loadout on the Retribution before each level.
  • Master the lean from behind cover mechanic, which will be critical for your survival. Approach the edge of cover while standing or crouching, and aim down sights when you see a chevron appear on the side of your crosshairs. You will auto-pop from behind cover as you ADS.
  • If you get shot in the legs, it will impact your movement. If you get shot in either arm, it will impact your ability to use equipment or aim down sights. Note: Your weapon can be shot out of your hands.

YOLO MODE

This mode is unlocked after beating the game on Specialist, and well… you only live once. By that we mean genuine permadeath. If you die, you will start all the way back at the beginning of the entire game.

MULTIPLAYER

The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Multiplayer experience offers challenging, fast-paced combat that will keep you on your toes. Here are some tips to help give you an edge.

  • Keep an eye out for combos of Perks and Rig Traits that synergize well. For example, use the Merc Rig with the Man at Arms Trait, equip the Momentum Perk, and use an LMG to get up close and personal with surprising speed for a heavy gun.
  • Prototype weapons come in common, rare, legendary, and epic tiers. In Infinite Warfare, you can obtain these in more ways than ever. You can use Salvage, the crafting currency you earn while you play, to craft Prototype weapons that come with new cosmetic and gameplay perks.
  • You can also earn Salvage through daily login bonuses, from Mission Teams, and from Supply Drops. If you happen to receive an item you already own in a Drop, it will automatically be “burned” and converted to Salvage.
  • Mission Teams give you unique challenges that allow you to get exclusive rewards, including Prototype weapons that are only available through Mission Teams. Each Team has a specialization that will encourage you to try different game modes that you have not tried before – and reward you for mixing it up.

ZOMBIES IN SPACELAND

This experience transports you into a theme park in the 1980s that is being overrun with undead guests, killer clowns, and more. There are a lot of things to explore and secrets to unlock. Here are some tips that can hopefully keep you alive a bit longer.

  • Be sure to find N31L the challenge robot early on. Complete the challenges he gives you to earn tickets that you can exchange for weapons and gear at Concession Stands.
  • Candy Machines can give you additional gameplay perks to help you and your team. You can enable five at a time, but be careful - you will lose them if you go in to Last Stand.
  • Level up through the progression system to gain the ability to add attachments to your wall-buy weapons.
  • Select your Fate and Fortune Cards carefully in the lobby, and don’t forget to use them in-game. Once you have enough kills to enable them, scroll through to find the one you want and use it at the right time. Once you use them all up, you can restock at a Fate & Fortune Booth – for a price.
